Thoughts are things

Truly thoughts are things. Everything man creates begins in the form of thought. Napoleon Hill in his book “Think and Grow Rich”, writes that thoughts are things. Our daily thinking shapes our character, the environment around us, and also our future.
In the words of William James, the founder of modern Psychology, we are the sum of our thoughts. The mind is the instrument that acts as the receiving and broadcasting station for our thinking.
To understand how our minds work, we should first know about the Paradigm. Bob Proctor, the author of the book “You Were Born Rich” explains this phenomenon very beautifully.
Our mind consists of two parts; the conscious or rational part and the subconscious or irrational part. We think consciously, and what we think consciously is stored in our subconscious. The thoughts in the subconscious are expressed through our body, and that is the reason thoughts based on fear, false beliefs, and superstitions manifest themselves in the body as social anxiety and other stressful behaviors.
Pessimistic thoughts attract negative conditions. The mind wants to be engaged, and it should be engaged. So it is necessary to dwell on positive thinking. Otherwise negative thoughts will fill it automatically.
You attract what you fear. In the words of an anonymous writer, the thing I fear has come upon me. Normal fear is necessary for survival, but abnormal fear is the root cause of all superstitions, dogmas, and conflict in relationships. Our society is plagued by negative thinking. Most of our thoughts are based on superstitions and false beliefs. The collective negative thoughts result in irreparable defects in society.
Why it is that so many goods, kind religious people suffer the tortures of the damned in their mind and body? Why is it that so many immoral and irreligious people succeed and prosper and enjoy radiant health? The answer is in the thinking patterns of the individual. If the dominating thoughts of the mind are about prosperity, success, happiness, and perfect health, then the subconscious mind will produce these results in life.
Everyone wants success, but very few know what success is. Earl Nightingale was one of the most prolific thinkers of his time. He said, “Success is the progressive realization of the worthy ideal” A definite purpose accompanied by persistence, burning desire, and faith will bring success. According to Napoleon Hill, “persistence is to success what carbon is to steel”
The miracle-working powers of your subconscious mind will not work if the dominating thoughts of your mind are negative. You should make sure that the dominating thoughts of your mind are positive. The most important positive emotions are the emotion of love, desire, and faith.
Thinking without emotions have no value. Mere repetition of the words without emotions will not work as it will not enter your subconscious. Only thoughts backed by emotions will translate it into its physical counterpart.
