PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Secretary, Dr. Kazim Niaz, placed an order for the construction of special ramps and washroom for special persons. This is to be completed during the Rs700 million-project of the ongoing renovation and repair, beautification, and refurbishment that started a few years ago at the Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH).
They plan includes the establishment of 20 state-of-the-art modular operation theaters. During the Chief Secretary’s visit to KTH, he instructed the consultants and contractors to complete the project within two months, while making sure that there are facilities being offered for the special persons.
This will ensure that they have easy access to all parts of the hospital. Dr. Kazim further directed the Health Secretary, Mohammad Yahya Akhunzada, to supervise all the details of the project.
