Finnish experts to train 1M Pakistani students on Disruptive-Technologies

A historic MoU between the Finnish university, Kajaani University of Applied Sciences and Pakistan was signed recently. The ceremony was chaired by the Pakistans’s Federal Minister of Planning & Development, Asad Umar.

The aim behind it is to launch an initiative that trains 1 million Pakistani students on disruptive technologies. Some of these include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), etc.

As the first and big-scale ‘Mass IT Education Program’, it will collaborate and be managed by prestigious institutions like The University of Applied Sciences”, Finland, “Allied ICT”, Finland and Virtual University (VU) Pakistan.

Meanwhile, it will also engage Pakistan’s both, the regional and local partner – Vendor Junction and Integration Xperts (IX), to provide technical expertise. Since last year, they have been exploring ways to access the highest quality of mass-education, technologies, and ideas.

Falling in the footsteps of Finland, millions of Pakistanis will now become highly-rated experts in the field of the global business environment. The European enterprises are also pinpointing the investment opportunities in this region, which promises great talents for building innovative businesses.
