CDA resumes construction

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is restarting all of its construction activities amid smart lockdown; including the construction for archetype overhead pedestrian bridge over Constitution Avenue.

The work was assigned to the Heavy Mechanical Complex (HMC) at the worth of Rs39 million with the length of 50 meters. The structure has been fabricated at their workshop and will be installed after the foundation is laid.

The SOPs concerning precautionary measures against the virus are to be ensured on all construction sites. The pedestrian bridge is the first to be resumed and is expected to be completed within a month.
