ISLAMABAD: On Monday, the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) assured National Assembly Standing Committee on Housing and Works, a parliamentary panel, that both of Bhara Kahu’s housing schemes launched in the area would be completed in two years’ time.
Waseem Hayat Bajwa, the Director-General FGEHA, stated in the meeting that all hurdles to Green Enclave I and II were removed for the construction work to begin. However, he also informed that the cost of the project had increased from Rs2.98 billion to Rs5.558 billion.
Due to this, the burden can be shifted to the allottee who will be charged a new rate. So far, no complaint had been received in this regard.
